This premier Summit discussed demographic trends, employment growth, and new business and community achievements throughout Greater Adams County.
This event highlighted the state of Adams County and the Gamechangers that make our region economically vital.
The morning started with a presentation from Adams County Commissioner and Chair Emma Pinter, who shared an overview of the county's highlights and plans. Speakers from three major regional projects—Amprius, Meati, and Waste Connections — shared their experiences working in the region, and why they chose Adams to expand and grow their businesses.
We heard from Norris Design, Peak Development, and EvergreenDevCo experts, who discussed how their teams have addressed water, housing, and urban planning challenges.
To wrap up this informational day, Futurist Chet Sisk, and State Demographer Elizabeth Garner discussed the region's aging population, the importance of upskilling and reskilling our workforce as our businesses continue to innovate.
